When the moment I lost you, I had lost all of me,
It was more than just a feeling; it was all that I see.
Every place I went, the image of your face would appear,
Yet in the blink of my eye, you quickly disappeared.

My heart would get so lonely, right that I'd always cry,
Never noticed how much it would hurt;the moment of goodbye.
People would say, "Don't worry, Time will make it heal."
How can I listen, when deep down your love is all I feel.

I am not sure how long this hurting heart of mine can take,
It hurts even more, knowing I gave myself this heartache.
I am stuck in my emotions, no thought of what to do,
I'll just lay back down while crying these tears for you.

Have you ever let go of someone and deep down feel guilty?
Yet facing the truth, all it did was make you more lonely,
All you can do each day is think of what could have been.
